Beau (Murdock) Sanderson

Networking, Outreach, and Admissions Coordinator

Beau (Murdock) Sanderson serves as the Networking, Outreach, and Admissions Coordinator for Mountain Valley Recovery and White River Academy, two Utah-based nonprofit programs dedicated to helping individuals overcome addiction, trauma, and behavioral health challenges.

As a Certified Therapeutic Game Master, Murdock combines traditional recovery support with innovative therapeutic approaches, including tabletop role-playing games, experiential learning, and community engagement. His professional background also includes working as staff in a wilderness therapy program, where he helped guide adolescents through outdoor-based personal growth and development experiences.

In his current role, Murdock focuses on building community partnerships, coordinating admissions, expanding access to treatment resources, and developing opportunities that help individuals build confidence, practical skills, and long-term recovery success. He also designs promotional and marketing materials, manages outreach initiatives, and works closely with businesses, foundations, and community partners to secure donations, sponsorships, and funding that support nonprofit programming and client services.

Outside of his professional work, Murdock is a writer, devoted father, and avid outdoorsman who enjoys camping and exploring the backcountry. He believes some of life’s most meaningful lessons are learned through adventure, storytelling, hard work, and genuine human connection.
